I realized I hadn't posted anything in almost a week so I figured I'd better get an update so you all don't think I'm dead.
I went to
The Phoenix Theater to see "The Zippers of Zoomerville" which was an absolute hoot. I can't recommend this show enough to anyone who lives in the Indy area or is a racing fan. They poke fun at everything and everyone with no holds barred. It's definitely worth seeing, especially since they've added Wednesday shows to the schedule and all tickets for those nights are only $15.00. It's money very well spent.
Friday I had to go to church to fold programs and that evening was the
Whoosier Network meeting. We all got to see the Easter special as well as the Doctor Who confidential about it. It was a really great time.
Saturday was spent cleaning & doing laundry. We are being invaded by ants and the cinnamon is not working to hold them off so we are doing everything we can to retake our domicile from them.
Sunday we had a programming meeting but prior to that, I got upset and went for a two hour walkabout to cool off. This probably wouldn't have been too noteworthy but I didn't put on shoes so I have huge blood-filled blisters on my feet as well as scrapes on my legs. While this was probably not the best option for dealing with the problem, it did give me time to cool down and reflect on a lot of things.
I seem to be taking little things way too seriously these days. Especially where certain people are involved. I need to rethink my priorities and reorganize my life some in order to deal with some of these issues.
Today was spent running some errands while recharging my cell phone (we picked up a car charger over the weekend). I also made the reservation for the Whoosier Network picnic which will be August 22nd at Garfield Park (more on that as it gets closer).
Tomorrow is the CoJ Board meeting. Not too much else going on this week. I had some plans but many of them have fallen through so if anyone wants to get together this weekend, I'm up for it.
I'm still waiting to find out if I'm ever going to get any money from unemployment but other than that, things are good. Hope you're all doing well. I'll try to talk to you more often.
TTFN!
