I'm still not updating as often as I should. Sorry about that. Anyway, here's an update of my weekend's events.

Friday evening I did some work at the church then went to Greenfield to meet up with beldar & veronica_rich for dinner and silliness. We had lots of fun and really need to hang out together more.

Saturday we watched The Race for the Cure on TV and then hosted kendokamel & her friend (who's LJ name I can't remember). After that we all went over to the party and had a really great time.

Sunday was spent hanging out at home and then that evening friendstephen came over for dinner to catch us up on how his shooting class went over the weekend. He also let us know that he is considering trading in his Aveo for a Kia Soul. I was concerned over this mainly due to the fact that I'm driving us up to Penguicon in his vehicle so I test drove one yesterday to make sure I could (long legs & a fat butt make it hard for me to drive just anything). Well, I adore the ride of the vehicle and would love to have one of my own. It was smooth and roomy and my legs were wonderfully accommodated.

Last night I finally made it to a meeting of the Halloween Committee. It went very well and I made some good contacts. We met the guy who just bought the Irving Theater and he's interested in working with some of our groups & clubs and cross-promoting shows and it looks like this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Tonight we are going to see a preview of the movie, "The Soloist". I'm really looking forward to this movie. It really looks great.

Beyond this, I've been stressing out a lot over my unemployment. My original claim's funding has dried up and I only got a few dollars paid out this week. I did open a new claim this week but I don't know if I'm going to get paid for this week at all and won't until next week. I'm hoping that I do otherwise I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to pay the rent let alone all of the other bills I've got to pay.

I really need to get some work soon. I just can't go on like this anymore. I need to work to keep myself sane.

SO, that's it for me. I hope you all are doing well and know that I care about you and think of you even if I don't read your journals as often as I should.

TTFN!
