(no subject)
Well, today's post has it all, the good, the bad and the ugly.
First the good. My weekend was pretty darn wonderful. Friday night's Whoosier party was great. veronica_rich showed up and brought her wonderful cranberry salad (which was good because I really couldn't eat much else that was there. I must get the recipe for it from her. I made a miniature dalek cake & a mini TARDIS cake and some cupcakes with "edible ball bearings" (yes, I finally found the dragees).
Saturday the roads were kinda bad so we didn't make it to the Hospitality Party as we'd planned but we did get errands run, hung out with anjala and had a very good time at the CoJ Christmas Party. We played a lot of fun games until late into the night. I would have liked to have played more but we had to get up early the next morning so we left around midnight.
Sunday morning was spent setting up for the Saint Nikolas Fest at the Rathskellar. We had a great time and things went much quicker and smoother than any previous year. It was wonderful. I have some pics of that and a few other things that I will work on getting posted sometime this week. After the setup, we had lunch at Ponderosa and tried some wonderful jello. beldar thought he was getting lime & strawberry but it turned out that the flavors were Green Apple & Watermelon. They were both really tasty.
Now for the bad, she's still here. Either they still couldn't fire her or something but she's still here and more annoying than ever.
As for the ugly, today I had volunteered to help with the holiday party decorations and so had most of the other members of the department. Well, the bitch didn't and she had the nerve to not only show up as we were done, but to make an entrance in which she thanked us for waiting for her and proceeded to scarf down a bunch of the pizza that was to be a reward for our working during our lunch hour. Yep, I really need to get out of here. Otherwise, I may just kill her.
As I was told the other day, some people are only alive because it's against the law to kill them.
