(no subject)
Hey everyone! Things are going pretty decently so far. Today is Boss's Day and for the first time ever, I am actually celebrating it. I have never before had a boss that in any way warranted recognition but this one is so wonderful, I'm really happy to celebrate him. I bought a card that we discreetly passed around the department and baked a clafouti for him (his wife thinks he needs to eat healthier and it's a tasty and healthy dish). I can't wait for him to arrive so we can surprise him.
In other news, apparently someone who cannot spell properly texted beldar yesterday. I remember when I was working as a substitute teacher for the "in school suspension" program and the kids would write down what they had done to get there. I never had a kid spell the curse words correctly. I used to tell them that they should not use a word of any type unless they could properly spell it and knew it's exact meaning. I remember in my 10th grade english class we had to look up the history of a number of words and at least one of them had to be a curse word. It was very interesting.
