(no subject)
Okay, today's health update. My procedure is scheduled for around 10 this morning. Which means I may be loopier than usual when veronica_rich comes to visit for lunch. However, I'll be pretty hungry so we should have a good visit anyway.
The doctor's saying that I should be released tomorrow if this takes. However, if it doesn't take the first time they will have to do it again until it does. Still, he thinks that with my results so far he expects this to go well the first time. He wants me out of here by Friday at the latest.
Work-wise, it looks like this week will be a wash but that I can be back at work bright and early Monday morning at the latest so I'm not too worried. I've got the unemployment to cover this week so money's not too much of a worry right now.
I'm just ready for everything to be fixed so I can get back to living my life again. I miss just being able to walk around the neighborhood or just have the energy to fix dinner or go downstairs to the basement.
On a strange note, I posted a message about my health on one of my favorite webcomics last night (Shanime, see link at left) asking for help from Doctor Igloo (her penguin version of House) and she's making me a comic with him treating me. That is so sweet of her. She didn't realize I was serious at first, an made a flip little comment but I thought it was pretty funny and totally in the spirit of Dr. Igloo. Still, her creating a comic for me is beyond what I could have asked.
So that's it for now. I will update you on my results once the drugs wear off. Again, thanks for all your love and good wishes. They are really making all the difference in the world.
