Well, my weekend went very well. I hope yours did as well.
First of all, I'd like to welcome my newest reader, wormquartet to my humble ramblings. I can't wait to see you again at Penguicon. I'd like to go ahead and request my favorite song be put on your playlist, "What Your Parents Think All Your Music Sounds Like". For those of you unfamiliar with it, here:

As for my weekend, I totally forgot that I wanted to go see "The Orphanage" at The Key so we totally missed it. Other than that, we mostly stayed at home and watched the DVR. My basketball bracket has been shot to hell but three of my final four choices are still alive so I'm not dead yet.
On Sunday we had friendstephen over for a nice Easter Lunch. I made a leg of lamb, scalloped potatoes, veggies and a trifle/parfait for dessert. It was very nice to have someone to share our Holiday with. We also finalized the arrangements so that the Whoosier Network can meet at our church from now on.
As for the stuff we watched on the DVR, we finally got around to seeing "Unhitched". The show is much funnier than I expected it to be. It's like a cross between "Seinfeld" and "Coupling" (the original British version) but the Kramer/Jeff character is much less freaky. I'm really enjoying it.
I was also glad to see that the strike actually improved one of the best shows on TV, "The Big Bang Theory". The writing is much sharper and they've made the neighbor much more witty. I loved the final joke on last week's episode.
So, tonight is Lesbian Bible Study. We're doing 4 chapters but we're retooling things to make it more accessible. We all thoroughly agree that the author of the book we're working from is an idiot and fear those who take her writing serious. Especially since the book is aimed at High School age teens.
