(no subject)
Well, here's my second post. Mainly it's me begging you to go and vote in LJ Idol. Here's the link to the voting. They are down to two tribes this week and for the first time beldar is up against his sister ambwilson. Please vote for them both. There's also an incentive of two bonus powers being given out but to exactly whom is being kept mum. Just please, go and vote.
I did forget to mention a couple of things in my previous post. One is that on my way home Wednesday I noticed at least 8 fire trucks outside of the mexican restaurant with the great fajita deal (it's like, 7 bucks and you get tons - the last time we went there we had enough left over to make a casserole that lasted for two more meals). Of course, my first thought was regarding hot sauce but it was also weird that it happened on the same day that rollick posted this entry.
The other thing I meant to write about was that yesterday I filled up my tank with gas. This is notable because I had meant to do it on the way to work since the Thornton's near the house had still not raised their prices. However, I forgot and didn't. I decided to check on my way home and sure enough, the price was still $2.89. There were a heck of a lot of other people who had also noticed the low price so I pulled in and maneuvered into a spot and started pumping. I noticed that the pump was going exceptionally slow but I figured it was the cold and the demand. Then they announced that they were almost out of gas but a tanker was on it's way to fill them back up. Luckily, I was able to keep it going and managed to fill up even after the tanker arrived and started refilling them. I'm glad I did so then because the price had jumped up almost $0.30 this morning.
