First of all, I'd like to say Happy Birthday to

gardenfey)!
Here's hoping your Birthday is as sweet and wonderful as you are!
Now for an update.
I was very annoyed at
beldaron Friday when I got home because he was on the computer all day and had never bothered to turn his cell phone on. He felt my anger was misplaced as his phone had been turned on all day. However, we discovered that something was wrong with it and it kept telling you it wasn't receiving calls even though it was on. We took it into the store and found out the bill was due on Thursday and they had suspended our service until it was paid (so glad to be back in bed with the antichrist again). We paid the bill and then everything was fixed. Damn, one day past the due date and you're shut off - this is absolute bullshit. We are so changing companies as soon as possible.
After that was resolved, we ran a few errands and then dropped by Kristin & Julie's (they're the couple who used to host our lesbian bible study) because we were all supposed to get together and since the phones were unusable, they wouldn't have been able to get ahold of us. It turned out that they had some company so they didn't try to call. However, we ended up hanging out there for about an hour or so talking and playing with the kids who were visiting.
While we were there, Kristin went into the kitchen and brought out a bag of kitty treats and then called the youngest girl to her. We were all horrified that she was about to feed her a kitty treat but she explained that she was going to see if that would help the little girl to get one of the cats to come to her (she had been chasing them around for a while). Later the child went to Kristin with a piece of pretzel and ate it out of her hand like a kitty treat which scared her mom a little bit more.
Saturday was spent at the Talbot Street Art Fair and the IMAF. We had a great time at both. I'm not sure that
beldar was quite prepared for the experience that was Lord of the Yum Yum but he does understand why the act is pretty much impossible to describe. We did get to see a new (to us) band called Born Again Floozies and they were great. They use two girls tapping as part of their percussion. It was really wild.
On Sunday beldar was on hospitality at church so we were there most of the morning. After that, we had lunch and came home to watch some TV.
I spent much of the weekend feeling sleepy and still fell quite so. I guess all of last week's fun took a lot more out of me than it seemed.
Anyway, that's about it for now. I will post again later with the LJ Idol update.
