(no subject)
Well, I am back finally. Work has been closed the past two days. This is especially good because the snow was awful and my car has a flat tire and another that is bald (we're getting a new set of tires Friday or Saturday). beldar managed to limp into work for a few hours each day but still the roads were treacherous. Hopefully they will come and plow the church parking lot today so that we will have an easier time getting in and out tomorrow.
The snow was so bad on Tuesday that we had to shovel off the porch in front of our door every two two hours because the snow was piling up so high we couldn't fully open the door.
Yesterday when I woke up and went into the living room, it was literally covered in penguin valentines. beldar had bought a box of Happy Feet valentines and put them up everywhere. It was so sweet and wonderful. I really hated that we couldn't go out to dinner last night as we had planned.
Anyway, now I'm back at work and stuck up against another wall of computer failure. The scanner's not working (which is particularly bad since 50-80% of my work today is scanning) so today's going to be a lot like Monday. Oh well, at least the email is up and running.
While I was at home the past two days I watched a few movies I hadn't seen yet. They were: "Pumpkinhead - Blood Feud" (lame, pathetic, couldn't finish it); "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (really didn't need to be remade, some of it was better but most of it was worse); "Secret Smile" (David Tennant is still sexy even when he's bad); "Blair Witch 2 - Book of Shadows" (made Pumpkinhead movie look Oscar-worthy); and finally "Seed of Chucky" (really fun, loved it and Jennifer Tilly). I still have a few others I need to see but this was quite a good haul.
