(no subject)
Well, things are certainly interesting here. Our email is down and will probably be down most of the day. Since our work here is 80-90% email dependent, this totally sucks rocks. Add to that the fact that a huge ice & snow storm is coming in tonight and we have a serious situation. Why couldn't email be down tomorrow when I will likely not be here? Yea, don't be surprised if I'm not here tomorrow. I have no desire to go out in the crappy weather. It really sucks that our place doesn't ever close (the fact that we went home early for last week's snow was only due to the server going down and them needing to work on it with none of us on our computers for several hours).
Enough of that, weekend update time. Friday evening I watched TV and stayed around the house. One of my fillings fell out that night at dinner and I will need to find a new dentist soon and have some work done because my teeth are really hurting a lot (I'm only somewhat sane due to lots of advil & oragel). Saturday we did laundry and shopping. We had hoped to see a movie but that really didn't work out at all. That evening we watched a bunch of TV and I finally got around to making some guacamole (I had planned to make it for Super Bowl but we already had too much food and people kept bringing more). It was really wonderful. I will make the rest either today or tomorrow.
Sunday I slept really late. beldar was reluctant to wake me but knew we wanted to go to church. We made the late service and tried to get some fajita veggies at Kroger but for some reason all of the stores were out. Hopefully they'll have some in this evening. We spent the rest of the day watching TV and got caught up on everything and even watched the movie, "The Aristocrats". That was pretty fun because his eyes kept getting wider and wider at some of the tellings of the joke.
One more thing before I go. When we watched last week's episode of "The Soup" they had a clip from "To Catch a Predator" in which they got this guy who's screen name was (I kid you not), "canIrapeyouanally". What the hell makes you think that sort of screen name is going to be overlooked by ANYONE? What the Hell was he thinking (obviously, he wasn't)?!?!?!?
