First of all, I'd like to say Happy Birthday

One of these days we will get together and get to know each other better.
Now, on to the weekend update.
Friday afternoon I left work at 1PM (the mail didn't end up running until 4PM). We ran a couple of errands but mostly just took it easy as I was still feeling under the weather. We watched some TV and then
beldarwent back to work.
Saturday I woke up early and made breakfast and watched some more TV then
beldarfinally got up and we went to work on the spare bedroom. We got all of the boxes of games unpacked and found a bunch of our missing stuff. However, we still have a ways to go in unpacking everything but we did make significant progress and we should wrap up the odds & ends this weekend so that we could actually have company over the holidays (that means you & your SO,
ladyofglass). Of course we also have to get things put away this weekend because Tony's antsy to get the place decorated for the Holidays. I told him we'd bring up all of our decorations from the basement this coming weekend and divy them up between the two locations and get the place decorated. I'm so excited.
Anyway, later that afternoon we got out to run a few errands and since it was pretty chilly, we stopped by Starwhores and got a hot beverage. I had a Pumpkin Spice Chai and it was wonderful. I'm going to need to go by World Market soon and get a bottle of Pumpkin Spice flavoring so I can enjoy this sort of stuff at home. When we got home, we managed to watch Arkansas whup Tennessee's butt on TV. WHoo Pigs!
We slept a little later Sunday because
beldarhad class after the 10:45 service so it would have been pointless to go to the early service. Anyway, while he was in class I scanned more sermons (we're up to 2000, now). Since he's got Hospitality duty next week & we'll have to be there for both morning services, I'm going to try to finish up the scanning then if possible. They're still amazed that I'll do this at all.
Anyway, after church we made it home just in time to see the tail end of the Colts game. It was an ugly win, but at least it was a win. Then we gathered the games together and categorized them so we can start to review them this week.
Tonight we're going to Golden Corral for the annual Veteran's Appreciation Dinner (free dinner for anyone who's served in the military). It's always so nice to attend. The meal's OK but there's always such a large crowd that you have to share a table and that's really half of the experience. One year we were seated with one of the Tuskegee Airmen. Those were some great stories let me tell you.
This week will likely be busy so don't be surprised if I don't update every day. However, just cause I don't update, doesn't mean I'm not thinking of you.
