We played Olympics

For a really long time there's been a ton of boxes in the rafters of the garage filled with all of our childhood stuff.  This summer I'm finally going through it getting rid of things.  There are some neat things.  Toy typewriters, smurf lunchboxesz, transformers.  Today I found a folder from 3rd grade with all kinds of stories that I wrote.  I used to write stories all the time but almost never finished them.  I guess I would just get distracted or bored or get a new idea.  I once took offense when Jacob told me Librans are typically noncommital, but now I'm beginning to agree.  There are some pretty funny stories like "The Howl in the Forest" and "The Mystery of the Invisible Path" and "All About my Hampster".  I guess that last one is more of a composition.

Anyway I found one of those journals from school that we had to write in every day.  It's filled with some pretty random stuff.

For example,

Dec. 3, 1992 Mrs Garland gave us new jobs.  I got book neatiner upper and secretary on Monday.
Dec 4, 1992  We have a substutute today.  His name is Mr. Finestone.  its almost like Flinstone.
or
Oct. 29, 1992  I wonder who will be the new president. Either Perot, Clinton or Bush.

July 30, 2007  Went to a show in a barn this weekend, ate some Mafia pizza, bought some pins and stuff at Todd Farm, swam, cut my finger in what used to be a raspberry field.  We had a conversation last night I would have never expected.  The mosquitos were biting us and there were no answers.  The 8-ball had no answers and neither did I and the mosquitos definitely didn't.  Looks like I'll be vacationing in Seattle.  Alright.

Once upon a time life used to be as simple as we're learning back bends in gymnastics this afternoon and someone brought in cupcakes for their birthday and I hope there's a snow day. tomorrow  Crazy!

I hope there's a snow day tomorrow.
