The return to Sunset Valley
I mentioned before that i was having a bit of trouble with The Sims 3. Well It's all sorted now, and the fault that started this whole escapade has been sorted, as the graphics problem i had with the flowers, trees and some other fauna has now been sorted and they now display correctly.
This means that my Sim family, the Bowsons, can now move back into their house in sunset valley. (as I thought to find out how to back up families in case of re-formatting or similar)
I don't know where the name came from initially, the only reason I'm using it this time was to carry on the name of the main family I used from the Sims 1. I've recycled a couple of Christian names but other than that the family is all-new.
But enough about my Sim family, the better news is that my PC is back up to full operating capacity, and is running a bit more reliably than before.
