I took my English Diagnostics Test this morning, at 10. I think I did pretty ok. I'm kind of nervous about some things. I confuse gerunds and participles all the time, and I'm pretty sure I confused them on the test. And direct and indirect objects of the verb. Blah ( Read more... )

I have to take the EDT to be accepted into the College of Mass Communications. It wasn't so bad, though. It was just boring. Kind of boring. Kind of fun, also, because I'm a grammar freak. That's why I work at our school paper as a copy editor. =)

But it's late, and I'm at USF, and you are all the way in LOL. Although, I am in LOL quite often myself, because my boyfriend lives there. *teehee*
For example, I was there yesterday. And Saturday. And Thursday. =)

Mike. He lives in LOL, way back in Lake Padgett. Follow Weeks back forever, make a few other turns, and he's back there. =)

I'm back there at lot, too. Haha.

That made me giggle.
But gerund's end in -ing too!

At least I got the infinitives part right. I forgot to look at those in my brother's grammar book before I left this morning, but I put all the "to" ones as infinitives. Yes!

I haven't looked at the critique yet. I got down here at 5:15 and at my Taco Bell after checking my EDT score. And then read and almot fell asleep on the couch again, like last night.

Then I read the baseball preview, and now I'm sitting here...pissing and moaning about the paper I have to write. But I'm pissing and moaning on the inside, so no one else has to hear. I'm so considerate. Haha. =)
