ARGH. WHAT THE FUCK???

An Update on the Fil-Am Girl Who Was Beaten Up in a Bus for "Looking Chinese"

March 21, 2007 -- A 14-year-old girl was busted yesterday in the beating of a high-school student by a pack of kids who taunted her for being "Chinese" as she rode a city bus to her Brooklyn home, police sources said.

The victim's lawyer said a 17-year-old boy was also arrested.

Cops from the hate-crimes task force identified the younger teen after finding her bookbag on the B82 bus on which Marie Stefanie Martinez was attacked Friday, sources said.

She was remanded to juvenile detention at her arraignment yesterday.

The boy allegedly punched Martinez in the face.

Martinez, claims she stepped on to the bus and was immediately surrounded by a group of nine or 10 kids who mimicked and taunted her for being Chinese.

One of them punched her in the face and another kicked her as she lay bleeding on the floor of the MTA bus. A good Samaritan eventually came to her rescue.

But Martinez, 17, who had moved to Brooklyn from the Philippines, says the bus driver refused to help.

When she got off at her stop near Avenue M, the driver told her to "go talk to a priest," according to Martinez.

Lawyer Rosemarie Arnold said Martinez, who is suing the MTA for negligence, was relieved that cops had identified some of the teens who beat her.

I think the best prize goes to the bus driver of course. "Go talk to a priest." Jesus fucking Christ.
