To be clear: Caramon Majere is a 'real' person (and the Inn of the Last Home a 'real' place) in the Dragonlance books. None of the names in the other submissions are, even the plains of Canderel, and I am amused that verisimiltude doesn't seem to provide any serious advantage in the game.

The textbox for your vote is to see what difference a secret vote does - you don't have to retype the whole line, just "Number 15" will do fine.

Damn, I was sure Dragonlance started in an inn... and who the hell is Flint Fireforge?
So, for Neverwhere, do you want the first line of chapter one, or the first line of the prologue (if there is one)?

Chapter one.

Flint's the dwarf. Well, he wasn't going to be the elf, was he?

Vague memories insisted there were no elves or dwarves in Dragonlance, just hobbits (kemmerings?).

No, there were elves and dwarves. Halflings were replaced by Kender, who's main racial characteristics were annoying-ness* and kleptomania.

*Seriously. They had a 'taunt' ability and everything.

Comment: "Garenghi" sounds suspiciously like "Garth Marenghi"....

Hee, and that's exactly what I was thinking of when I came up with it!
