7 hours left till submission deadline for Round 2!
As an aside, many of the books I had marked as potentials for this round have, I discovered, first sentences that are more than 255 characters long. As such, I haev located 2 more and, rather than spend hours at work not working (they have these things called standards), I will interpose, probably next round, something that isn't 18th century. I haven't decided what yet.
