I'm back!
Yesterday Lily started the first grade at her new French Immersion school, and rode the bus to school for the first time!
She was so happy!
When we picked her up at the bus stop and asked her how her first day of school was she said, "Terrific!" I can't ask for better than that! :)
Today was Justin's first day back to school, and aside from the morning chaos caused by him missing the bus, it's been a pretty chill day around here. Violet, Gabe, and I are settling back into our old routine quite nicely. One thing's for certain, the house is already starting to look a lot cleaner. ;)
Oh, did I mention that Michelle and I have been making pickles? Dill Pickles, that is.
We also have a crock of them fermenting in her basement right now. Every time I go out to the garden I find more cucumbers ready to be picked, I can't believe how many five plants has yielded! :)
