The most prestigious seat

Skipped class to watch the inauguration, my official story being that she canceled it, except I had a big problem. I woke up to damn early and kept falling back asleep. I finally woke up and caught a few parts of Obama's speech. Would have been nice to see him sworn in but oh well. NPR played his speech on the way home and, well, I cried. There, I'm man enough to admit it. Pretty damn moving, especially what he said about those that wish to do America harm.

Some awesome news, thanks to my 3.0 last semester my car insurance rates have been lowered. I guess they don't actually care about your cumulative grade. This would have been nice to know for Winter 08 because I got a 3.2, which means I wouldn't have had to spend so much money last summer.

Hey, let's talk about Animal Crossing: City Folk. Not much has changed here, but I appreciate the new things. The city, the games biggest feature and newest feature, is pretty boring. They moved Crazy Redd's, Shampoodle, Katrina, and Dr. Shrunk here. They also added the a chapter of that house rating thing, the HRA I think, except it's manned by Lyle the Weasel. I feel kind of bad for him, he seems so damned depressed about working there. Last game he would come to your house and sell you insurance, he was happy and free. Now he's stuck in an office all day, poor guy. Another nice addition is the ability to make designs anywhere you want, and they're free! You can also make Pro designs at the Able Sister's store, which makes the sleeves different from the shirt design. Besides that, not much is new, just little things like items and some characters.

Is it weird that I was excited to watch the Powerpuff Girls Marathon on Monday? Cause I was. It was the highlight of my day off. It also reminds me how much I miss it, it and other awesome old cartoons.
