The day after

So, Christmas run down. Time spent at my cousin Ann's house was all right, wasn't exactly fun but wasn't the worst thing ever. Time at my cousin Andrew's house was awesome. He had gotten Guitar Hero: World Tour for the Wii and we were playing it up, then we switched to Rock Band 2. I know it's cruel, but white washing one of my younger cousins with my cousin Adam was hysterical. Don't worry, her parents said she probably deserved it. Alright, a list of what I got (some with pictures):
-Animal Crossing: City Folk with the Wii Speak attachment

-An Iron Man ornament for the tree

-Roughly $290
-A gift card for Best Buy worth $20
-Some awesome slippers from LL Bean
Most of the money will go towards getting school books, while a tiny portion of it will go towards a 360 game.

Finally, some pictures of our Christmas tree:

And pictures of Hailey's black eye. Not as bad as it was:

I've gotten this weird idea for making some sort of band or a CD over the summer of 2009. It could be cool, my cousin Andrew is on board since he doesn't have anything to do this semester, and I might ask some more people to help with it. Right now we need someone on drums and maybe vocals and bass. The only ideas I have for it right now are that it will be named "This is a CD (It Plays Music)", one song will be named Track 14 (it won't be track 14) and Preset 2, and we'll tell jokes in between songs (probably really bad ones). It could be fun, it could suck, some parts will be fun and others will suck, etc. If you want to join in, record something and send it to me and Andrew and I will go over it.

The florist called me today to tell me they no longer need me for Saturdays. It's kind of cool that I have my Saturdays back, sleeping in and what not, but now I once more have no means of earning income. This of course disconcerts my mom as my car insurance is very high. I have to say I am getting tired of her telling me to get a job. I am looking for jobs, I have put in applications at many places, but all she sees is me at home and she thinks I'm not doing a damn thing. Her approach to remedy this problem is throwing resumes at me. One problem though, very few places that are hiring now actually accept resumes, they want me to fill out applications. Sure, I would love to hand them resumes, it tells them the same thing and I wouldn't have to write a damn thing.

Another thing, RIP Eartha Kitt. Here's a quote on why she is so awesome, on Santa Baby, "I used to have a lot of fun with this song...then Madonna sang it."
