Oh Wolverine, why can't you be true?
I read several underwhelming reviews of Wolverine before I went to see it. Which may have had the positive result of lowering my expectations, because when I actually saw it it was pretty okay. Better than three out of four Die Hard movies, I'd say.
What I am sure of is that somebody involved in the script is a fan of the TV tropes website. One banter/ fight scene between Wolverine and Sabertooth included the tropes nobody kills you but me and back to back within maybe ninety seconds of each other.
Anyway, he didn't want to be an immortal, indestructible superhero. He wanted to be a lumberjack.
