The menu around here is like Taco Bell--lots of varieties of a tortilla with meat and cheese.

Bran's been hard at work at dinner, after the last two weeks of basically slacking off (not that there weren't good reasons for that, and everyone who wanted food still got it, but he actually likes the feeling of experimenting, finding just the right combination of ingredients, making something he would never have learned to do at home).

There's mahi mahi, filleted and baked under pineapple and honey, with a bit of whatever herbs he thought smelled good on the top of them. While that's baking he melts some of the goat cheese, a few more herbs, and pours it over boiled potatoes--the potatoes, he's fairly sure, are new, but he's glad to have them.

A bit of oysters, then, with tomato sauce or without, and he slices up some fruit to go on the side--mangos and pineapples and strawberries, kiwi and orange and banana--frying a bit up and drizzling honey over it, then pours it all into a bowl with some of the applesauce. There's an abundance of fruit here and it seems it's part of every meal, but there are worse things to eat a lot of.

Once the whole meal is set up on the counter, he stands back to give it a satisfied look. He likes to think he's getting pretty good at this.

[Summary: Bran makes yummy food, various people come to eat some. Abby and Izzie discuss sex, seduction, and the upcoming party. Bran meets Izzie at last, and Abby tries to explain forensics. Ephram shows up and flirts, and Bran plays the harp for him. Will shows up and doesn't know he's flirting, which ends outside in a wrestling match. And Will tries to explain Christmas to Edward.]
