"Jonas!" Alexis called with a wave, heading over once she spotted him. "Isn't all this awesome? I want to go on everything at least twice. Maybe not the Jurassic Park ride, though, that one probably just once."

She paused and swept wide eyes over the spread he'd collected. "...wow, that is a lot of food."

“The rides do look like fun. I tried a few yesterday, though the one underground was a bit much for I think.” It had reminded him of too many close calls on SG-1. But Jonas could only grin bashfully and duck his head as he looked down at the food he’d manage to gather in front of him. “Yes well, Xander was just telling me about all of the food that is served at tradition amusement parks and somehow this ended up in my trying all of them.” Not that Jonas was complaining, but some of it was heavy even for his alien stomach.

Alexis laughed. "Yeah, it's kind of a fair and amusement park tradition to deep fry just about everything you can think of," she said. "I think the food at places like this is pretty much just a convergence of all the unhealthiest and yet most delicious foods in existence."

"It's definitely heavier then anything I've ever eaten but I'm enjoying it." As if to prove the point, Jonas took a bite of his favorite, a fried banana.

He was kind of like a big kid, trying to eat and experience everything, but Alexis just grinned - she was all too used to guys acting like big kids, after all. She was sort of raising one. "So will you go on a ride with me when you're done feeding your face?" she said, a bit teasingly. "What's something you haven't been on yet?"

Jonas was aware that the other members of SG-1 had seen him that way at times as well so it didn't bother him one bit to see the same look in Alexis' eyes. "Sure, I'd love too. And I haven't really tried any of them on this island yet so I'm game for whichever." He wanted to try them all but he kept getting distracted by other things at the fair.

She looked around them appraisingly, checking out the various rides that were available on the second island. Alexis wanted to try them all, really, but it was just a matter of what to do first. "How about the rollercoaster?" she asked, turning back to Jonas.

Jonas had to remember which one had been pointed out to him as the roller coaster but he was quickly nodding as he polished off the fried banana. "Sure! That one does look like fun. I've heard there's one underground too. Except, I don't know why I've heard that one called Space Mountain. Wouldn't it be called Under the Mountain, if it's underground?"

"I think it's called that because there's a real ride called Space Mountain," Alexis explained with a smile. "There's an amusement park called Disneyland in the United States - actually a couple, Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida. Space Mountain is there."

"Oh. Is the real ride underground too? And I'm guessing it's called space mountain because of it being in the dark, right?" Really, he knew other people wouldn't ask so many questions about a simple ride but he couldn't help himself. "Someone said something about the ride with the dolls being from Disney parks as well."

"It's a Small World," Alexis confirmed, nodding. She thought it was a cute ride, but could see how it might get a little obnoxious if you had a season pass or something and went all the time. "Have you been on that one?"

"Not yet, though I want too. I wanted to brush up on all the languages in the ride." Jonas honestly knew that he didn't need to know all the language to enjoy the ride but it was fun for him. Really!
