He's used to this, he thinks, the feeling of being out of place, of playing like he can fit in but not quite managing it; he just hopes that she doesn't see it. It's not her in the slightest. All of it is him, and how much he wishes she didn't have to see him like this, how much he wishes he could be better. She deserves better. And now, shit, with him as he is now and her so stunning, a full-fledged adult, maybe she'll finally see it, maybe this will screw everything up.
Waking up together has become something of a regular occurrence for Eduardo and Olive. Waking up together at fifteen and thirty-eight respectively, however, is decidedly not. Panic ensues, issues kick in, plans are made and the origin of the word 'soccer' is discussed.
