GAE Grand Re-Opening
Nearly nine months it's been that they've been working on the Green Arrow Estates, and even standing in the middle of the completed clutch of luxury cottages, Clark can't quite believe that it's finally finished.
Most of the huts that remained had been taken down to their foundations, and with Oliver in mind, Clark had set out to create something polished and maybe even a little swanky, if there was such a thing on the island of Tabula Rasa. The homes aren't just solid, but genuinely beautiful, and he's incredibly proud of himself and everyone who helped along the way, even if it was just to bring by lunch or lemonade.
That much hard work deserves a reward, and earlier in the week Clark had pinned up a flier to the Compound's bulletin board announcing that everyone is welcome to join a party celebrating the grand re-opening of the GAE. There are tables set out in the courtyard, each piled with food and drink, and while there isn't any music or dancing, they've got the melody of the ocean rolling in with every wave. The evening is cool and clear, and despite all that he's lost to be on this island, Clark still feels tremendously blessed.
