(no subject)
There were twenty five upside down doors. There were fifteen upside down windows. There was one flying gazebo. And there was one very thoroughly bored fourteen year old girl lying upside down. Suffering her punishment in complete silence, well almost complete silence. Well, not very silently at all.
"I'm bored!" Coraline yelled, sighing as she stretched her arms up and looked at the ceiling. It was quite boring, it was a ceiling after all. Maybe she could paint it. With stars and fun things on it. That would probably kill a whole five minutes. But she'd probably get into trouble for defacing the homestead. Some people had no taste. "I'm really, really bored!" Coraline waited for a response before sighing and adding. "Aliens are invading. Really big ones, big scary blue and green ones with eight hands and moustaches. If you don't hurry I'll be kidnapped and then you'll have to rescue me. From the aliens."
Coraline waited one, two, three seconds before she sighed loudly when no one came to her rescue. It was like they wanted her to Suffer. It was like they wanted her to die from boredom. Sure, no one had died yet but what if Coraline was the first?
"What sort of people don't hurry to someone's rescue? If I really was getting kidnapped you'd be very sorry right now for not coming to help me." Coraline yelled, groaning before she rolled over onto her front. Crossing her arms, Coraline rested her head on them and kicked her legs back and to. "Can I go see my friends? It's practically a chore. I mean, have you met Percy? He's really quite trying. So, it's not really fun if I go and see him. It's sort of you know, a punishment."
Coraline didn't think anyone would go for that but she never knew after all people had met Percy.
"Ugh!" Coraline shrieked in frustration, slamming her fists down into the wood. "I hate being grounded! It's so boring! And I said I was sorry! Is anyone actually even listening to me anymore?" Coraline waited for a moment before she continued, scowling the entire time. "Stupid grown ups with their stupid rules. When I die from boredom. I hope you'll all be very happy!"
