But today the island resembles the offspring of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory and Candyland, and as such does not present the most fitting backdrop for dwelling on one's relationship troubles, however cursed (s)he may be. She's almost shaken herself free of those thoughts when a voice calls out, and with the slight raise of a brow, she steps forward and accepts the flower.
"Oh my God," she half-mumbles around a mouthful of petals, "so much for watching my figure. If, you know, I were actually doing such a thing. And even if I was, today would've shot that whole plan to Hell. That is a good flower."

"Number one way to make sure no one cares your Valentine's Day decorations have nothing to do with Valentine's Day? Make them edible." Edible and delicious, not that it needs mentioning; the entire island seems aware of the fact by now. And her thoughts are otherwise occupied, busy considering whether or not it would be acceptable to lick her fingers now. "The island owed us one, anyway. Or, you know, a thousand. Who's keeping count?"
