Council business

Jack knew Dale had done a lot of paperwork but he'd never had any idea just what the man did. Now he knew. Housing, new people, vanished people, so many things. And it all needed to be kept in order. That appealed to him. Jack liked order.

Of course, Jack liked chaos, too. He found himself thinking of the excitement and thrill and danger of the space station and he sighed. He missed things like that and most of the time he was good at just not thinking about how much he missed running with the Doctor or racing the clock to save his own ass. There was a time when that was pretty much how he made his living. He never forgot to set his alarm for Volcano Day.

But now things were back to normal. He'd fought with Logan, the same argument they had been having since before they were married. He'd visited his friends in the clinic. He'd gone running with the dogs and had made sure the club was in order and...God, he'd gone domestic. That was another thing Jack was very good at not thinking about. It was his life and he liked all the parts so it followed that he liked the whole. He just didn't like the idea of being domestic. He put the thought out of his mind and focused on the paperwork. That was easy. That was ordered.

He had his coffee and he sat behind the desk reading files and then putting them away in their appropriate place. So much to do. He was glad there was plenty of time.

[Come see Jack to visit or you can bring him council business if there is anything you need to discuss in game.]
