That had been Ray's initial reaction anyway. Nearly five minutes later and his language had turned a bit more colorful. Sally approached him and stopped two feet from the man, hands on her hips as she studied him with the default setting she had for all men -- disgust tapered with a hint of attraction and self-loathing. "On what grounds would I even be served with?"

"For obstructing the...for committing...for my grounds, okay?" Ray pointed his badge at her, like it might have special super powers. Mind control ones. "Now d'you wanna go to jail or d'you wanna do a good deed for the day and help a guy out?"

Sally wasn't convinced. At all. In fact, she might have leaned forward to snatch the badge and study it. Once she was convinced it was real, she handed it back to him and eyed him. "So what exactly am I supposed to do? I don't speak mistletoe."

"What most people do under mistletoe. Play tic-tac-toe and sing marching songs," Ray drawled, giving Sally an impatient look. "You gotta kiss me!"

Sally rolled her eyes and leaned in forward, stopping mere inches from him in order to apply judicious use of a womanly point at his chest. "If this gets back to my boyfriend, you're going to insist we were coerced," she warned before leaning in on her toes in order to press a kiss to his lips.

Chaste. And a little dry. Apparently chapstick was a necessity they were without -- at least, to Sally's standards, which were five degrees moister than most people.

"Coer--mmmm." When the kiss ended, Ray blinked and leaned back, taking a few moments to regain his train of thought. "Coerced...alright. We can say that." If they had to. "Who's your boyfriend?"

Sally pressed her thumb to the corner of her lips and stepped away from the mistletoe, waiting expectantly for the man to do the same. "Henry," she replied. "Henry Devlin. And you are? I really thought my days of kissing nameless men was over, but here I am, surprised once more," she retorts calmly.
