Christmas Blues
"You have got to be kidding me."
That had been Ray's initial reaction anyway. Nearly five minutes later and his language had turned a bit more colorful. He'd tackled the mistletoe methodically, trying to rip it away so it would let him loose but he was still caught beneath it, looking like a prized idiot most probably. It was pretty much the end of an already horrendous day, just another in a long week of them since Tabula Rasa Day.
With little to no patience left, Ray had no choice but to revert to his default setting. Being loud, abrasive and threatening. That had to get him somewhere. And right now, anywhere was better than this.
"Yo! D'you know what this means?" He called to the rec room occupants, pulling his cop badge out and lifting it up on show. "Does anybody know what this means? This means if somebody doesn't come and kiss me right now you're all going to jail."
Problem solved. He'd be free in no time.
