Will was... not happy.

The whole thing with walking in on Magnus and her boyfriend, and then their fight, and then his moving to the compound, had him in a funk that he just couldn't shake. He was not glad he'd moved out, even though he knew it was the best thing, and it was really eating at him.

He hadn't seen her since their argument. They lived too far apart now for him to just "happen to be in the neighborhood", she didn't take shifts at the compound clinic, and anyway he certainly had learned his lesson about dropping in on her unannounced. That was why he'd given her her privacy, wasn't it? So she could do her thing and live her life and he didn't have to know the details. But he wasn't used to her not being around. Will had been--well, he'd been her right-hand man, protege, colleague--whatever he'd been--for the last year and a half, and the lack of their usual teasing and just plain talking left him floundering a little. So, he threw himself into his work, looking after his patients, pouring over the pages of notes he'd taken on the mystery of Juliet's repressed memories, and tried not to think too hard about anything else.

At the moment Will was throwing himself just as determinedly into a drink at the Winchester. He wasn't normally the drown-your-sorrows type, and generally thought it was a bad idea, but just this once... yeah. Just this once. Just this once he'd have a drink and not think about anyone's problems, including his own.

Especially his own.

A smack in the head from the Big Guy would probably be just the thing he needed. Just thinking that thought made him feel a little homesick. The Sanctuary was the only real home Will had ever had, and he was missing it a whole lot right now. The place, and everyone in it. Especially everyone in it.

He needed another drink.

[Will is at the Winchester being mopey. New tags welcome through Sunday.]
