"Don't," he says, shaking his head. "Just don't, Nate. You don't get to do this. You don't get to fucking decide this on your own. Not something this big. Not when it's my whole life too."
Unable to reconcile Remy's feelings and his own, Nate tries to break up with Brad. It doesn't go to plan.

"I didn't expect to be in love with one person, Remy, let alone two," he says, quietly. "And I bet you were expecting me just about as much as I was expecting you."
He shrugs.
"There isn't exactly a manual for this."
True to his word, Brad seeks out Remy. They talk and it might not be a definitive solution, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

"I do," she assures Brad, leaning her head forward to brush a kiss on his head. "And of course I'm not happy, but only because you're upset, Nate is beating himself up, Remy feels awful. It's a mess, love."
Seeking comfort, Brad ends up at Terry's door. He doesn't ask her to marry him.
