There were locks of hair littering the bathroom sink several feet away, scissors in Chase's hand, and a slight look of panic on his face. He wasn't a child anymore, yet he seemed to be pretty adamant about doing sudden whim-of-the-moment things and at the current moment, there was a patch of short hair on his head to make a testament to his snap decision.

Samson held all his power in his hair. Chase held a lot of frizz and split ends in his lately and wanted to start from scratch. Of course, he had thought that scissors and a mirror at the Compound would do, but that wasn't going very well. He'd pried himself away from the bathroom to head to the kitchen sink because while there were sinks in the bathroom, he'd have more of a chance of finding someone to help in the kitchen.

He managed to pry the scissors from his hand and placed them on a cloth on the kitchen table as he stood in front of the sink and let the running water calm him. Normally he would just have the Doctor trim it or do it himself, but this time it was so much shorter. It was already so much shorter on a good portion of a patch, so there was absolutely no going back.

He probably also wasn't going to be able to do it alone.

He splashed cold water against his face and ran his fingers through his hair, leaning over to grab the scissors and hold long strands of hair in front of his eyes as he studied them, eyes tipped to the ceiling and trying to remember that if he cut it, no civilizations were going to fall. He'd just be able to see a whole lot better.

[Open to tags through Saturday and the cut is going along S6 lines, like so. You can find him in either the bathroom or kitchen!]
