Sprawled out on one of the couches in the rec room, Logan lay with his eyes shut and his copy of A Midsummer Night's Dream open and covering his face. He was splayed out like some bizarre chalk outline, one foot resting on the arm of the couch, the other dangling freely over the front, and one arm tucked behind his head while the other rested on his stomach.
Linus, his large golden retriever, had been content to simply lay near his sleeping master at first, but was growing restless as time passed by. ...Restless, and hungry.
Most pets would have simply wandered of to the kitchen to beg scraps off of strangers, but Linus seemed set on having his owner feed him. He'd tried begging, and nudging him with his nose. He'd licked his arm and any other skin he could reach, and he'd even whimpered and barked- Logan simply didn't stir.
Frustrated, the golden dog had set off into the halls, dodging toddlers and tots and latching onto the first adult he could find. It might have been a shirt or some shorts, maybe even a dress- Whatever the fabric was, Linus caught it between his teeth and tugged, dragging the poor soul towards the rec room and presenting them with his sleeping owner.
Looking up with big eyes, he seemed to silently beg, "Please wake up my owner".
(Open to all. Logan will wake up eventually, feel free to have your pup try and wake him, or simply try and get away from the dog. Linus is pretty big and very stubborn, so Logan will likely wake up before they get very far. :) ST/LT welcome.)
