The movie, all in all, came out to be a respectable hour and a half. Considering the movie had been fucking taped on an island that didn't exactly lend itself to be a movie set, he figured it was a damn big accomplishment all together. That the cast of the movie did a hell of a job with the script he wrote made it even better.
After a quick introduction from Gideon, he started up the thing, projecting the movie onto the projection screen by using his computer's USB projector. The majority of the movie was set in a decidedly jungle sort of setting, which wasn't all that fucking surprising considering it was the best area to film in that wouldn't have a ton of people accidentally walking on set.
The movie mostly centered on a sort of misadventure to steal a priceless jewel. The two protagonists (and obvious anti-heroes) Chris and Ann, played brilliantly by Eden and Penny. After the two manage to snatch it during a secret hand-off in the jungle, it's up to two CIA agents named Ryan and Eva, played by Jack and Karen, respectively. What follows after the actual steal is a race to freedom. as the two navigate through the jungle to their waiting ship. The plot twist comes in the form of Ann seemingly turning on Chris and leading her to waiting agents under the guise of getting the reward bounty. What actually happens - and the second half of the movie - is it's actually a ploy hatched by the two of them to slip away when they realize their original plan of escape became impossible. The end of the movie has Ann helping Chris escape, and the two facing being out to sea, ending on an unknowing fisherman finding them off the coast and helping them on.
It was a fairly standard fair action movie with good acting and a pretty fucking decent script, if Gideon said so himself. He even managed to get a scene with a fucking explosion, thanks in part to Tony, who he still wasn't all that friendly with. There were plenty of cameos in the movie of other people involved with smaller bits, giving them all as much airtime as he fucking could manage. With Daisy having made the costume, the movie ended up looking petty fucking polished and as close to a real movie he could fucking get on the island. It helped he had Lionel helping with the camerawork during the first half of the movie, and Angua taking his place when he up and left the island.
There was food for before and after the movie - finger food type shit that Eden made. There was enough for a decent type of crowd, since he figured food was probably fucking expected in a showing like this. With the credits done rolling and the lights back on, Gideon pretty much let people go mingle and shit. No one wanted to hear big ass speeches about the meaning and all that. Movies were a lot better when they weren't shoved down people's throats.
