The school term began tomorrow and Evey was already a bit worried about the classes she'd chosen, though she knew it was silly to worry about classes she hadn't even begun. It wasn't that they weren't subjects in which she was interested, since she certainly wouldn't take them if she wasn't, but she was concerned about her ability to keep up, especially in maths and ethics. The other subjects would be challenging, but she was more confident about them. Ballet especially seemed quite interesting since it was a performing art she'd not yet attempted.
For now, though, she was attempting to put her worries aside and enjoy some time with Rollo on the beach. She'd been reading Ethics for Dummies, but he'd dropped a stick in front of her and sighed gustily until she'd agreed to get up and play. Sometimes he was far more wolf and others he was almost entirely dog. This appeared to be a dog day, though that could certainly change if he spotted something to chase.
She threw the stick and he chased it down the beach, so intent on retrieving it that he nearly ran into someone and had to do a sideways dance to avoid them, which made Evey laugh.
"I'm terribly sorry!" she called out apologetically. "He's got no manners at all sometimes."
