Her smile grew at the thought that he would likely make one himself if there wasn't one to be found. She approached the table and clasped her hands at her waist, smile tugging wider with amusement.
"I'm fairly certain when they say 'go out and enjoy the sun', they don't expect you to bring a computer with you." Somewhere in there, she'd meant there to be a hello.

He looked up, turned around and yep, there she was. Elizabeth Weir. The last time he'd seen her she had ordered him and the rest of the team to leave her behind on the Replicator planet. She was dead.
But since when had the island stopped dead people from showing up on it?
"Elizabeth," he croaked hoarsely. What else could he say?

"It's good to see you again, too, Rodney."

"Oh," she said, sounding surprised when someone approached. "Good morning." The woman wasn't anyone Jill recognized, but on the island, considering how much time Jill spent holed up in the lab, that didn't mean much.

Still, she offered a pleasant smile and a nod. "I suppose I owe you an apology."

Offering the other woman her hand, she said, "I'm Jill Langston. I'm... sort of staying here in New Atlantis." Which was vague enough, she imagined.

"Oh, sorry..." She took the woman's hand with an apologetic smile. "Elizabeth Weir. I suppose you could say I'm just moving in here."

So, for the first time in days, Carson found himself back at New Atlantis, not able to help but think of how ironic it was that he'd chosen to head back on the day of the week that he was actually scheduled for a clinic shift, and wouldn't be able to stay but a few hours.
"Elizabeth," He said, upon seeing her near the outskirts of the settlement, "Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes?"

She schooled her expression to pleasant neutrality, and turned toward Carson with a smile. "Carson...It's good to see you again, too."

It was never something he thought he'd have to do, and now for the third time, he was having to assure some one that he wasn't some sort of imposter.

He'd been visiting New Atlantis in hope of catching Ronon for a properly painful spar, but the the no-longer-walrus was nowhere to be seen, which led Austin to attempt practicing stick fighting on his own, using the surrounding air - and occasionally the nearest tree - as substitute opponents. Somehow, it wasn't quite the same.
There was less grunting, for one.
He turned the moment he heard someone approach, posture relaxing upon recognition. "Doctor Weir," he greeted with a nod and a smile. "Still delusional?"
