Dwight had been watching. While he had been watching he had been taking notes. But now, over a week later, it was time to act.

This was his duty, no, this was his mission. And he would not fail his sensei.

"Excuse me," he said, approaching the young man. "May I have a moment of your time?"

Glenn had heard the man's footsteps before he spoke, though only glanced up when he completed the sharpening he had been doing on his sword. He had never met him before, but that certainly did not stop him from offering him a friendly smile. Rohleod, who was grazing nearby, only lifted his head to look at the man once before shaking her mane out and returning to feeding on the grass.

"Aye," he replied. "How can I be of service to ye, sir?"

If Glenn was anything like his pixelated counterpart, Dwight knew he was a perfect candidate. Honorable, kind, brave. And hopefully single.

"I just have a few questions I'd like to ask you. First, fact or myth? Bears see in color," Dwight said, pen poised over his paper.

Glenn's eyebrows furrowed a little at the question. It certainly was not one he was expecting.

"Bears," he repeated, looking thoughtful. "They are animals, aye? I do nae think I know of them, or they are called something different in my world. I do believe beasts from my lands could nae see colors, though. Why do ye ask?"

Oh, right. Dwight supposed it couldn't count if there weren't any bears in Glenn's world. This did, however, just go toward proving that Glenn was actually Glenn, even if he wasn't a giant frog.

"It's for a survey," he said dismissively, and moved on to the next question. "What is the square root of 64?"

Glenn had done a survey once before for the clinic, and the questions had been personal - about him. Perhaps this was a different sort of one. The questions were not any more understandable, though.

"If ye would explain what a square root is," he said, patiently. "Then I can perhaps answer."

Dwight stared blankly at Glenn. Maybe he was wrong about this one.

"What, you don't have math where you're from?"

"Certainly we have math," he said, raising a brow at the other man. "Buying and selling wares there never involved things such as square roots."

Dwight sighed, put out by the cultural divide.

"Fine, then. What's 8 times 8?"

"Sixty-four," he replied, with no pause. He was not sure he liked this man much. "Is there any other questions, sir?"
