Sally had been on the island less than a week and she'd already done something stupid. She'd gotten drunk and kissed someone. Someone who wasn't Larry. Someone she hardly knew.
She shouldn't of even gone to the party last night. This morning she'd woken up with the worst headache ever and a slight case of memory loss. After her first cup of coffee, which definitely wasn't her last, the past night's events came rushing back in a wave of guilt.
Sally usually didn't feel guilt for doing what she wanted. But everything was backwards here. Everything felt wrong, with her father and Larry back at home worrying about her. She didn't know when she'd quit feeling bad, but right now she was.
Drinking was something Sally didn't do often, as she knew herself to turn into a right ditz when she was drunk. She flirted with anything that moved and usually ended the night kissing some random bloke. But the man she had kissed last night wasn't any random bloke, it was Captain Jack Harkness. He didn't seem like any random bloke. He was probably the most popular guy around the island and everyone seemed to know him. Which in turn meant that everyone probably knew what she'd done. And Sally wasn't fond of everyone knowing her business, even though keeping things private went out the window when they'd kissed in the middle of the dance floor, in front of everyone.
It didn't help that he was apparently in a relationship. With someone, she didn't know who. She didn't really care to know, because any further romantic relationship with the Captain was out of the question in Sally's mind. She had enough to think about.
She really just wanted to be alone, which was impossible since everywhere she went she felt like there were a hundred eyes trained on her every move. She really needed to find something take up her time.
[Sally is in the Rec area, sitting in one of the chairs near the book case, reading. She looks distracted and annoyed. For Jack but anyone is welcome to tag.]
