As all hell breaks loose around the island, the crew of Serenity notices that one of them is unaccounted for. Mal and Jayne head off on a rescue mission, and the others prepare to defend the ship.
Out in the world, River runs into her her most hated enemy, and then she and Saffron encounter their worst nightmare: Reavers. (On the adult side, for blood and violence.)
The rescuers return, with two patients for Dr. Tam. (More blood, and a major emotional breakdown from at least one patient.)
