Picture book, of people with each other to prove they love each other

Maybe it was just one of those things that couples did, but it seemed that the more agitated Jack had gotten about everything lately, the more calm she had felt. Not, like, in reaction to him, hopefully, but more like she just knew that now wasn't the time to be feeling off kilter. Yeah, she missed home and the theater and she even missed her parents sometimes, but on the whole, it was okay. It was weird, and it was a little unsettling, but it was okay. She was able to start running again and had spent the morning trying to sew baby clothes, which was a lot harder than it seemed it should be and even though she knew Anne had her own machine, it was the thought that counted.

After having finished some simple stretches (she still just wasn't quite up to par yet), she walks along the beach, watching the sun start to sink as the waves swirl around her ankles.

It's been a good day.

And that thought, plus a sudden *wooshing* sound is the last thing she is able to process before she's smacked in the head by something kind of heavy  and flat.

"Ow," she moans, after a stunned silence, having been knocked down onto her butt in the sand. "What the hell?"  she exclaims, rubbing the top of her head as she looks around for whatever the hell that just was.

[ooc: Open to all! It's Kate's 1 year anniversary and she's received her second item. It's a large, heavy, maroon scrapbook and it just landed on her head. It's filled with newspaper clippings and photos of theater actors (Geoffrey and Ellen included) and some awkward pictures of her family, among other things!]
