With the addition to Buffy's hut almost done, Xander had elected for some free time while Buffy went off to train or patrol or whatever she had said she was going to do. Normally Xander would have tried to follow but today he was so tired, he just wanted to convince the bookshelf to give him some decent comics and curl up on the couch

When Joe entered the rec room, he didn't expect to see the two man there, but it was easy enough to ignore them. Well, it was easy enough to ignore the one he didn't know, but it was damn near impossible to ignore Xander. Who was familiar and dancing like a fucking idiot.

"You look like a moron," he informed Xander over the music, although there was a smile on his face. It had been a quiet week and although he was tired, he didn't feel like he was going crazy anymore and it was hard to work up the energy to get pissed at anything. So mostly he just went with being amused.

Xander just grinned at Joe. "You know, that would wound me, except I've heard it so many times that, really, doesn't bother me so much anymore."

"Good fucking attitude to have," Joe replied with a nod and something that almost looked like an impressed smile. But the smile disappeared a second later and he watched Xander, an eyebrow still raised. "What the fuck is this shit, anyway?"

"Hey! It's perfectly good dancing here!" He said slightly indigent till he realized Joe probably meant the music. He paused to rub the back of his neck. "Oh I have no idea. It just started playing. Kinda catchy though."

Prior didn't recognize the song playing when he stepped into the rec room, but the two guys dancing like fools in the middle of the room was enough to make him linger in the doorway and look amused.

Not everyone could be a naturally good dancer, but... oh, honey.

Michael looked up when he saw someone standing in the door way and grinned at him. "What? Not going to join us?" He continued what he was doing though he saw the teenager falter slightly in his dancing as he saw they were being watched. Michael chuckled and smiled encouragingly.

Prior smirked a little and waved his cane. "Not much of a dancer these days, but I hope you don't mind if I watch."

"Oh come on!" Michael came over to the other and offered his hand. "It'll be fun?" He gave his best cute look, hoping to persuade the other to join them.

Wondering what the ruckus in the rec room was, Prior peered through the doorway of the rec room and saw Guy's boyfriend and some other fellow acting like complete lunatics. He might have left quietly, not being in the mood for another uncomfortable conversation with Michael, but he found the absurd spectacle rather mesmerizing.

When Michael caught sight of what he was doing, he immediately froze and had to stop himself from glaring at Billy. He took a deep breath before asking softly, "Are you going to just stand there or come and join us?"

The teenager seemed to pick up on the tension and seemed to ignore them, though Michael had no doubt he was listening in.

"I've no idea what you're doing," Prior replied, looking slightly mystified. "Is this some sort of modern thing?"

The tension was obvious, but he ignored it. He would probably leave shortly anyway - he reckoned he was being something of a "buzzkill," as they said nowadays.

Michael snorted. "It's called just having fun. I didn't realize it was such a modern thing." Which was really all he and the teenager had been doing.

"Really?" Anya was laughing at a story Glenn was telling, her hand in his as the entered the rec room. Then she saw Xander convulsing, no, it had to be dancing. Her grip on Glenn's hand tightened as she stared at him in shock. "Xander?"

Xander stopped suddenly as he heard Anya say his name. Though he had to smile a bit when he saw Glenn with her and holding hands, but since he'd be avoiding Anya since the day by the boards, he wasn't exactly sure what to do. "Uh, hey Anya. Hey Glenn." One hand went into the pocket of his jeans while the other waved awkwardly before going to scratch the back of his neck.

Glenn looked at the other man in amusement, not quite sure what to make of what he had just seem him doing.

"Those were some interesting movements," he commented. It reminded him a bit of the strange dancing he had seen during the party in Ayla's village.

"He was dancing I think, he's not very good at it." Anya whispered to him, except, not very quietly. "Xander, have you met Glenn?" Anya decided she should introduce the two men, though they seemed to know each other somewhat. "Xander is the one who left me at the altar. Only not this Xander, an older one. Glenn is my..." She paused for only a second, her grip on his hand tightening. "Xander, Glenn is, well, we're dating." Okay, they may never had discussed it, but it seemed obvious to her."

Trance was bored and when Trance was bored, she went to go see what the bookshelf had to give her. Last time, it had given her the History of the Commonwealth Part 1, and she hoped to get the second volume. What she didn't expect was to have two men dancing in the middle of the room to some kind of music.

She stopped, watched, and laughed softly to herself.

Hearing a very girl laugh, Xander turned to look at the door with a grin...and promptly backed up into the couch and tripped over his own two feet, falling backwards and then over the back, falling hard onto the floor behind it. "Ow..."

Trance saw the younger of the men look her way and then gasped when he backed up and fell over the couch. She headed his way immediately.

"Are you okay?" she asked, worry clear in her tone. "I didn't mean to startle you."

When Xander hit the ground, at first he thought he must have been imagining things. There was no way that girl was purple.

And then there she was standing over him and Xander couldn't help a small dismayed sounds from escaping him as he backed up some more. "You...your purple." Oh god. It figured. Even here there were demons after him.
