The bookshelf had been oblidging enough to provide paper, and a nice lady with long red hair and a limp had lent Emmy some crayons so today was Drawing Day for the Strombecks. At the moment, Emmy wasn't what could be called a skilled artist, but Lily herself couldn't draw and she wasn't sure that Eddie could either. As it happened, they were drawing daddy. Sort of.

Lily tilted her head on one side. Her hair was long enough to brush her shoulders. It hadn't been this long since before she'd gotten married.

"That's very nice, Emmy. Looks just like him."

Lily fixed her hair behind her ear and looked down at her own piece of paper and the note she'd gotten halfway through writing.

MIDWIFERY PRACTICE
- THE HIDDEN HAMLET.

ASK FOR LIL

Lily wrinkled her nose and finished writing her name with a flourish, moving the paper before Emmy could transfer her artistic endevours.

ooc: I go on hiatus for a week and they gang up on me...so, momma and kidlet drawing time! Feel free to read the note over Lil's shoulder if you so choose.
