Sunday AM Clinic Post

Jewish or not, Cuddy still had a recollection of what today was, and she knew it held double meaning. Easter Sunday, for she never had a shortage of Catholic friends growing up, and Jack's island arrival date. A year ago today, was it? The latter would warrant a trip to his hut, but that would come after her clinic shift was finished. To say it had been quiet was an understatement and that in itself was just fine. There were still those who needed watching due to dinosaur related injuries - Gwen and Ace, to be two of them - and she wouldn't be unhappy to see Booth either, to know just how his ribs had healed.

She didn't really expect Wilson to stop by and see her, but the thought of Wilson gave her a funny little feeling that...could be examined later. Cuddy was never one to let her personal feelings violently overtake her work ethic - though House loved to remind her of rare moments when it had happened - and this wasn't the time to think about the past years, the past few days, or exactly what had and might have happened between her and Wilson.

Pulling her hair back with a tie Cuddy shivered and decided to keep a jacket around her this morning. It couldn't be cold outside, the weather was tropical and most always beautiful but she'd experienced a chill the other day and it hadn't quite left her yet. The supply cabinets were straightened just fine, and she busied herself making sure everything was perfect to avoid sitting still for too long.
