There were only a select handful of scenes from American Psycho that really appealed to Brian. Arguably, there were other ways to make the afternoon go by but he couldn't see anything wrong with taking a break and watching someone else kill people was the next best thing to getting to kill people himself ( Read more... )

Dream walked into the rec room just as the light from the projector snuffed out, leaving the room slightly dimmer.

He recognized Brian right away.

"Hello," he said, eyes scanning the other man darkly.

The Corinthian had been proud of this one.

"Hello," Brian replied, eyeing the man with polite interet as he rewound the film. If the man thought he was going to answer questions about the projector, he was going to be sorely disappointed.

"How long have you been here?" asked Dream. He hadn't noticed a body count.

Strangely, the way he thought about it, he still very much separated himself from the island. Brian was one of the Corinthian's, yes, but that was simply the way of things, and killers were as necessary as saviors for the balance of the world.

Dream was not concerned so much as curious.

"Eight days," he replied. "I'm Brian." People always wanted to know how long he'd been there but he wasn't sure he knew what the difference was. They were all stuck there forever apparently.
