He flushed a little.
"Uh," he said.

He glanced up just long enough to avoid crashing into the pool table, but stopped short when he saw who was sitting at it. He looked rather disturbingly familiar for a stranger. That had been him, for a few days.
"Hey there," he said, voice sounding odd in his ears.

He was awfully tall.
He offered a smile, absently wiping his hands on his pants, and offered one.
"Alphonse Elric. It's good to meet you."

Upon closer inspection, Ed was... impressed. His little brother had always had a steadier hand when it came to drawing arrays. It hadn't been until his 17th birthday that he'd realized Al was good at drawing things besides arrays.
"Heeeey... these are pretty good!"

"It's like math! It's easy, once you understand the principles of perspective, and then color and how to demonstrate the quality of light! I'm getting better, at least," he added.
