S.N.A.P.E. September-October Art Contest

J. K. Rowling has said that someone loved Snape. I can't help but feel that it must have been his mother, the former Eileen Prince. He put her maiden name in his private nickname, identifying with her in secret, perhaps deriving strength from that identification, while maintaining his father's surname in public. ( No 'Lord Voldemort' for him. )

Okay, so my artistic efforts leave a lot to be desired, but I just couldn't resist when I saw the painting entitled 'Mother Combing Her Child's Hair'...

Also, I may have cheated a bit by putting text into the picture. If it's not eligible as an entry it doesn't matter - I had fun drawing it ;)

This is so funny, I started laughing out loud at work when I first saw it, causing nearby people to give me peculiar looks and me to quickly switch to the work homepage.

The typed text is OK. Other people have done that in the past.

Heh, heh! Thank you! I had to go for a humorous effect as I'm not good enough at art to draw a serious picture. But I'm very glad you like it :D
