Permanent Ramblings
Life goes on.
Yesterday I submitted my first (and maybe my last) application for a writing position. I fear I may have overestimated my abilities, but I guess we shall see. For fear of jinxing myself I will not reveal the actual place, but it is for a website. Who knows where this will lead.
In other Steve job news, my mindless temp job has been extended. It seems they have other projects in mind. I guess that is good news, as I really can't complain about the hours or pay for what I'm doing. There also has been some subtle rumblings about pulling me into the company fulltime. This is a longshot, primarily because I don't know the first thing about aircraft maintenance. If it were to happen though, I would reap some serious benefits, I.E. being able to get on standby for nearly any flight for little to no cost to myself. I would just have to sacrifice my long term sanity. Meh who knows.
Tonight we will be graced with the Lost season finale. I have been very happy with this season, it actually brought me back into the story against all odds. I hope the finale doesn't change my opinion too drastically.
I need to go to the grocery today, what kind of sandwich should I eat for lunch next week?
