So as many of you know, I recently started a temp job at an airline. Basically I am reformating pdf's for maintenance procedures, which (amazingly) turned out to be about as exciting as it sounds. Timeline (the book that is) was entertaining and i ended up reading it in like 3 days, but to me it just felt like a Jurassic Park retread with the dinosaurs swapped out for knights. And since Jurassic Park came first, and Dinosaurs > knights any and every day of the week...

Still, it was fun. The movie apparently not as much. Also, as far as diabolical-scientists-paying-for-their-hubris denouements go, sending the prick back in time to die of the Black Death is way better than him getting eaten by compys.

I think you may have done it again... I did state that I hadn't yet finished the book, so I don't know about any black death thing.

But yeah it reads a lot like Jurassic Park, and thats fine. It is something to focus on at work at the very least.
