After being away for just a month, I'm having slight problems with German. I have to remind myself not to speak English. Today in my head I wanted to say "shit" and "Scheiße" at the same time, and it came out as "shite," and I felt British.

It's a good eight months away, but this whole "moving to Portugal" thing is already driving me crazy. There's no straight information on what to apply for when, not even from the consulate. Gah.
